OHIO!!!

We finally went on our trip to Ohio during Bryce's fall break and visited the Kirtland Historic Sites! I was so excited to visit my mission and see some of the wonderful people I served with. We left Saturday afternoon and arrived in Hiram around 5:30. Bishop Herman and his wife let us stay with them that night and we went to church with them on Sunday. At church I saw so many people I love and it was nice to talk to them.

We went on tour at the Johnson Farm after sacrament meeting. I loved being back in the Johnson home and feeling the amazing spirit is has. Sister Dalton gave us the tour and then her husband showed us out and took some pictures of us.

Bryce was excited to see the Kirtland Temple in person.

After touring the Johnson Farm we drove to Kirtland and went to Fairport Harbor and the Morley Farm. We were able to stay with Elder and Sister Butterfield and Bryce loved that their home is right on the sites next to the NK Whitney store. Monday morning we went on tour at the Kirtland temple and then had a senior couple take us on tour at the Kirtland sites. I was so happy walking around the sites again. It really is heaven and being able to share it all with Bryce made it even more special.
